Why I like this job
Building networks and problem-solving are my passions. I enjoy finding unique ways to utilize technology to solve problems. The result for our customers is optimized solutions at cost-effective prices without jeopardizing reliability.
When we first rolled out our Broadsoft Broadworks-based voice platform, we were venturing into a new realm of managing our own multi-tenant carrier-class hosted voice/voice switching platform – using the same tech as the top telecom carriers in the world. Working with their engineers to deploy the system into our network, I noticed ways we could improve and optimize our deployment in the future. During a major upgrade several years later, I re-deployed and migrated our set-up into that optimized format. We are one of the few carriers that manages, maintains and upgrades our own deployment.
