How We Got Here
In 1998, as Y-Tech Solutions, we took over the Tampa branch of Automated Office Systems, an office machinery business that had been serving central and south Florida since 1960. Two years later, through Tampa Bay DSL, we began to provide internet connectivity to the greater Tampa Bay area and added software to better service the medical community with applications and connectivity.
We expanded into hosted telecommunications when we opened PBX-Change in 2005, and a few years later, into cloud-based systems. Aware of our location in the hurricane belt, we initiated our Geographic Redundant component by adding an alternate platform in Atlanta. We now have full back-up in case of total power outages.
After years of focusing on voice technologies, after Hurricane Irma in 2018 we recognized a need for reliable connectivity and re-introduced high-speed internet with Tampa Bay Fiber.
We are certified Cisco Journey Platform Experts and a registered CLEC (competitive local exchange carrier) in Florida, delivering unified voice, contact center management and internet services to small and medium-size businesses and organizations, in Florida and beyond.
